Privacy Statement Flexim International B.V.

IWith this Privacy Statement, Flexim International B.V, having its office at (1704 SK) Heerhugowaard, Buys Ballotstraat 4, with chamber of commerce number: 037051639 (hereinafter: “Flexim”), explains which personal data it collects and processes and for which purposes, and what its cookie policy is.

General information

Flexim respects the privacy of all visitors to its website https://www.flexim.eu, its (potential) customers and (potential) relations. Personal data provided to Flexim, will be dealt with and secured with the greatest care possible. Your personal data will not be sold or traded, nor shared with organisations or individuals that are not related to the services of Flexim in any way. In any event, Flexim processes data in compliance with the requirements laid down by the data protection legislation.

Personal data

If you use the services of Flexim or if you have contacted Flexim, for example by sending an email or by using the contact form on the website of Flexim, Flexim will save the personal data provided by you.

Flexim only saves and processes the personal data as provided by you. You can visit the website of Flexim without providing any personal data to Flexim at any time.

Purposes of processing

Flexim will use your personal data to provide the best service possible, including to conduct activities aimed at increasing its customer base and (other) marketing purposes.. our personal data will be used to deliver your order, to make and send invoices, to inform you regarding your delivery, for the purpose of your account settings so you do not have to re-enter your data, and for sending newsletters.
Your personal data will solely be used for these purposes. Your personal data shall not be shared with third parties without your written consent, unless it is necessary for the execution of the agreement you concluded with Flexim or it this is required by law.

Retention period

Your personal data will be kept for as long as the nature of the contact between you and Flexim is needed in the opinion of Flexim. This data will never be stored longer than necessary, unless required by other legislation.

Newsletters

Flexim informs interested parties regarding her services through newsletters. Each newsletter contains a link that allows you to unsubscribe. The subscriber file of the newsletter is not provided to third parties.

Security measures

Flexim takes care of appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent loss or improper processing of personal data. Some of these measures are:
– Flexim’s website is protected with an SSL certificate. This will encrypt confidential information, for example, provided through a contact form;
– Access to electronic systems is protected by including a password;
– Only authorized personnel / third parties have access to your personal data.
– A processor agreement has been concluded with the web hosting provider that also guarantees the security of your personal data.

Cookies

Flexim makes use of cookies. Cookies are very small text files that are stored on the hard drive of your computer, tablet or smartphone. These cookies are used to make the Flexim website more efficient, such as by offering a shopping cart. These cookies are not used to identify you.

Flexim also uses Google Analytics. Analytics cookies are used to map and analyze website use, with the goal of improving the quality and/or effectiveness of the website. By collecting data via Google Analytics, Flexim gains insight into the use and these statistics can be applied to its website. The information obtained is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Goole may provide this information to third parties if Google is required by law to do so, or if these third parties process the provided data on Google’s behalf. Flexim does not have any influence on this matter. However, Flexim does not allow Google to use the provided analytics for other Google services. Third parties do not have access to the cookies Flexim uses. If you are completely opposed to the idea of websites storing cookies on your computer or peripheral devices, you can always adjust your browser settings. These proceedings however only affect that particular device and browser. In the event you use more computer and/or browsers, you need to repeat these proceedings as many times necessary.

Your rights

You have various rights if your personal data are processed by Flexim. For example, you can request to view, change or delete your personal data. You also have the right to indicate that the processing of your data should be restricted and/or you can object to processing (e.g. to direct marketing). This statement has been drawn up in both Dutch and English. If the English version differs from the Dutch version, the Dutch version shall prevail.
